UPDATE: Was $6700.
I will say the motor fits nicely. But, the resale value would have been far better, and the install price cheaper, if they’d just rebuilt a flathead.
“Restored frame off older restoration. Jeep has all the original appeal with a professional install of a Toyota 20r motor. custom fabricated motor mounts and tranny bell housing. Includes hard to find pto drive (not installed) Sold on a bill of sale already had WSP inspection done and submitted to DOL. Started off life as a farm vehicle never licensed or taken on the road.”
ironic to have a japanese engine installed in a mighty willys mb. kind of creepy.
lol i thought the same thing. I mean really, toyota? 😉
It sure is …ahh…green.
Did you guys also notice that the owner says the jeep started its life as a farm jeep…..I beg your pardon…it started its life of in defense of this great country we call the United States of America!!! Its second career after it won the war was as a farm vehicle!!!
Steve,
I suspect what he meant to write was that once they received it the jeep was used on a farm, so he (or his family) never licensed it.
