It seems to have a replacement body with a variety of mods.
“Willys Jeep, exact year unknown but it’s currently titled and registered as a 1945. This jeep has a 4.3 tbi motor with a th350 automatic transmission and a np205 transfer case. Power steering has been added.
So many new parts including:
seat frames, 12 volt wiring harness, fuel tank, painless tbi harness, aluminum radiator, alternator, custom steering column with removable steering wheel, front bumper, custom exhaust, gauges, manual master cylinder setup, battery, fuel pump, etc.
This is a fun little jeep that fits in tight places, for a size comparison this jeep is 59″ wide, a Polaris Ranger is 60″ wide. Asking $3700, may take partial trade for firearms.”
DJ3A looks like with 4 x 4 added. Just like mine. But much better shape. I am going to do the same thing like this with more changes to Military spec.
I don’t think it is a DJ-3A body, as it doesn’t have the large speedometer and the gas filler is on the driver’s side rather than at the back.

They may have changed the dash. But if you look at the back you will see the bracing for the center mounted tire carrier. The hole was filled in for the gas tank and the side fill was added. Also note no tool box under the seat. Could be a DJ body added to a standard CJ3A frame as it has the extra bracket for the rear tow pintle that a DJ frame does not.
It is certainly possible. My feeling is that someone who could patch the rear, replace the dash, and install the filler inlet so perfectly would have done a better job (aesthetically) of installing the gauges. Either way, these are fun puzzles to unravel 🙂
