Nate’s CJ-3A Project

If you’ve been reading the site for a while you might remember a couple of Nate Bolduc’s projects. At the end of 2012, Nate shared with us photos of a very stock CJ-3A he purchased. Since then, not only has he been helping out at the CJ-3A Page, but he’s also been rebuilding this jeep with a Forest Service theme. He’s even named the jeep Teddy, after Theodore Roosevelt. This shows the stock CJ-3A after purchased. Note that it’s got some rot along the lower body, which means some body fixin’

Nate built this custom spare tire, water, and his Indian Fire Pump. the quick disconnect looks like a smart idea.

Nate picked up a PTO winch at the Willys Picnic in June. He’s got it installed behind a Warn OD.

Nate decided to try R&Ps dual master cylinder upgrade. He found it an easy upgrade and plans to purchase one for his next project.

Here’s a photo of the completed restoration, just in time to test it on this winter’s ice!
