UPDATE: Was $7500. **SOLD**
This is a running Tuxedo Mark III.
“This is one of the best in the country. Original paint, the color is called Indian Ceramic. Runs great. The ’63 Tuxedo Mark III was the first production model with chrome trim on all latches, bumpers, side steps, grab bar and more. This jeep has been in Arizona all it’s life, the last 10 years in Sun City storage.”
too bad about the paint on fenders and grill, I wonder what caused that. The rest of the Jeep has nice vintage look. I love too see these non-rusted western jeeps. I love flat fenders, but it’s hard to beat a nice CJ-5!
Correct me if I am wrong, didn’t the early Tuxedo’s only come with a single lever for the transfer case, column-shifted T-90 transmission, 60/40 bench seat…
The Tuxedo Park IVs had the single lever, but they also had their own model number. After some quick research, as I understand it the III was a package option, rather than a specific model, so it’s possible the single lever wasn’t a part of the package?
Split bench was standard in Tux IV. Tux IV bucket seats was the option, opposite on an 8305 VIN universal CJ-5. Column shift standard on Tux IV, floor shift option.
