Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Looks like it might have been an air compressor trailer.
It looks like an air compressor trailer.
I have no idea and expertise with Ben hur trailer but I would say that it will be good for a kitchen with those side panel.
My best guess is it’s an electrical or phone trailer. By coincidence, I just saw one of these last weekend on the way to the Northern California ATHS truck show in Orland, CA. It was in an electrical contractor’s yard. It must have been made for a lot of weight because of the six lug wheels and the heavy duty landing gear, just like on a 1.5 Ton M-105 trailer. I was looking closely to see if it had 5 lug wheels like on my M-101 trailer. I’m always looking for extra 5 lug wheels for my M-101 and my B3PW Dodge Power Wagon.
It’s strong enough to carry a compressor, but I don’t see any valves up front. What are those two-prong outlets in the front? Maybe it’s a portable generator.

I think it looks like an air compressor trailer,it is shaped exactly like one that I have at work. The air hoses and tools store in the sides under the hinged hoods. However I agree with Steve E. about the two plugs in the front they look like something else,so I am wondering if something else was inside other than a compressor.
I did some investigating today, and it’s definitely a generator, powered by a Willys L4-134. I stopped by and took a look at the one I saw last weekend. I had not found the M-XXX or G-XXX military number yet. And there’s no obvious plate on the trailer to tell me.
The owner is not on the site I visited. But it may be for sale if anyone is interested. It’s not a small trailer like an M-100, but it’s not as big as an M-101. It’s in between those two trailer sizes.

I need one of these with this axle/hub/6-lug wheel setup…… but I’m in PA. If anyone knows of one or sees one close, I’d be interested in it!
Thanks in advance!
