Up for sale is a unique collection of the span of the military jeep generations. Our founder has been collecting these Jeeps for decades and has decided to sell his collection in its entirety.
Over the past decades, our founder collected the cream of what came by our doors, and stored them away in his personal collection. As we are also one of the biggest Jeep Parts distributors in the USA this was a relatively easy task, both to find these jewels and to refit them with whatever parts that were needed. Part can be found at Jeeps Surplus in Oroville, CA. The only vehicle in this collection not running is the “1960 AMC M422A1 MITY MITE”, which hasn’t had any engine work.
The purchase price for the entire jeep collection is $100,000.00. We will not be selling these jeeps individually.”

AMBULANCE JEEP. THIS RARE UNIT (ONLY 4000+ PRODUCED) IS IN
OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL CONDITION AND STILL RETAINS THE ULTRA-RARE
UPPER LITTER RACK. INCLUDES AN NOS CANVAS MILITARY OPEN TOP WITH THE
RED CROSS AND THREE STRETCHERS.
1960 AMC M422A1 MITY MITE
FOR THE FIRST TIME IN USMC HISTORY THEY HAD A SAY IN SPECIALIZED
VEHICLE DESIGN WHICH CULMINATED IN THE “MITY-“MITE. ONLY 4000+ OF
THESE VEHICLES WERE BUILT WITH THIS SUPER-CLEAN UNIT BEING ONE OF THE
FIRST A1 MODELS. IT STILL RETAINS THE RARE ORIGINAL LIGHTWEIGHT
WINDSHIELD AND INCLUDES ANOTHER MOTOR AS A SPARE. THIS IS THE ONLY VEHICLE IN
THIS COLLECTION THAT DOES NOT RUN, AND HAS NOT HAD ANY ENGINE WORK DONE WITH IT.
1968 AMC M151A1

JUNK… I saw the thread off g503 I think, even with my “untrained” eye, I can spot numerous issues or inconsistencies.
Interesting see that the Might Mite isn’t really that much smaller than a WWII Jeep…also never noticed how w-I-d-e the 151 was, in comparison.

Anybody ever put together a list of these vehicles and probable appraised value / total sum of appraisals to obtain a percentage that can be multiplied by the sale price of the collection to come up with a probable individual sale value per vehicle?

The short answer is no. We didn’t have enough photos and information to judge the quality of the restorations on these. However, if there was nothing unusual about the provenence of the vehicles (such as one was owned by someone famous or the MB was a radio jeep), then a probably market value could be estimated. For example, the MB/GPW would be worth more on average than the others. It’s hard to see any of these others going for much more than $12k. Again, lacking a closeup inspection, the individual market values if sold today would probably be around a sum of $75k. But then, if you have to buy them as a lot, the price ought to be less.
