UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $4000.
“This jeep has been stored in the garage for 40 years
from 1973 and is still there.
It ran when it was stored and needed some work done at that time.
It was never moved or started and no attempts were made to do any repairs since 1973
It was one of these projects my father never got to finish”
Appears to be a DJ3A.
Note the hubcaps and emergency brake handle.
I agree, and also the large speedometer.
Certainly isn’t a CJ3B either. Note no fuel filler on drivers side. Looks like column shift also. Pretty steep for a 40 year neglected project, but a Black Plate CA Baby she is.
Plus no raised hood, and no tailgate. Wish the seller would roll it out of the garage and take better pics. Seems like he’s banking on that “unmolested garage find” appeal.
Yeah, I messed that one up. I *thought* i saw a 3B hood. And then I saw the year . . . sigh
Looks like it’s not rotted or anything. $4,000 seems a bit steep, but it looks clean.
If i had the money i’d be all over that! Given the rust buckets we have up here in the rust belt, thats a bargain!
That Jeep has a real time travel look to it, just like stepping back into maybe 1960.
This sold last week for $3500 and just saw it yesterday at local swap meet for for $6950. Has a very cool look but $6950 not running? Needs another $1500- $2000 to get it on the road again.
Thanks for the update Rudy. I’ll change the post.
