Ann’s been in a quilting mood lately. And, when she gets in a mood, she gets productive. She’s sewn together around 10 quilts of different types in the past couple of months. Recently, she started looking for flat fender fabric (who could that quilt be for?), however all she has found is “Tugger” patterns.
Anyone ever run across flat fender quilting cloth?
Here’s the Tugger swatches. Ann found this one of a flying Tugger:
How about one specific to eWillys….your logo should look good if played with to suit.
ALSOME, my wife quilts all the time .She guilty me a tee shirt guilt, with all the places I 4 wheeled, from top truck challenge in California to Catskills. If anyone see a pattern of a forward control ,let use now. Thanks!
Perhaps you could buy some of the willys cj W gold flake interior for a few squares, it would be pretty neat. SMS also has it in several colors but their pricing is random. My wagon had it but I just couldn’t bear the cost.

Wayne. I sure would like to see that pattern. Sounds very unique!
I had a neighbor family make me a quilt but ran into the same issue. Two suggestions.. Either use an old screenprinted tee shirt, with a flatfender on it, or have a local embroidery shop make you a flatfender embroidered panel. They did the latter, it was not exactly a flatfender but it looks cool. And it is good and warm as well. I understand the modern computer controlled machines can do almost anything but they are not cheap…
10 quilts? Ann is very quick or vey busy making quilts. Perhaps it is time to have her start sewing for Jpet….He could use an assistant making tops and might even branch out into seat covers with talent like that..
Bill: She’s been experimenting with machine quilting, some were simple, but they are getting more complex.
We have a good friend that does machine quilting. She created a couple embroidered ‘ewillys’ items for me.
She can’t go to work for Jpet, we need our travel time 🙂
