I have never seen a square tank either, maybe improvised by the troops?
Maybe a British modification?
Looks like a condenser can for a water cooled MG. Probably a Vickers can.
Do those front wheels look odd to anyone else? Just covered in mud or they a low profile tractor wheel or something?
They do look a little different.
I noticed the tires as well. They look really bald to me. You can almost see the tread on the LF.
