Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (01/03/2014) Brad’s selling this nice looking DJ-3A at a good price. The only minor issue I see is the modified steps, but those could be repaired over time.
“Willys DJ-3A, Survivor, 2WD, 1958 Flat Fender Dispatch Jeep 4×2, Mostly Restored with rebuilt engine & transmission. Other items; new Best Top, brakes, radiator, elec cooling fan, rebuilt steering box & carb. Runs needs some TLC.”

That would make a good daily driver (warm climate) or a great start for a Surrey clone.
