UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Dennis noted that the VIN indicates these are CJ-7s.
Craig spotted this CJ-7 tour jeep. Seems like a good price. I suspect this jeep comes from the same tour Tucson company as these CJ-7 tour jeeps that were auctioned back in 2012.
“Up for sale is a rare az 99 % rust free survivor. Very straight solid body,my mechanic has gone through the jeep and restored it correctly.
very reliable starts rite up every time.
Runs and drives good, power steering, brakes work as they should, 4×4 works good, stop tail lights headlights all work, turn signals not working not sure why, gauges fuel, temp ,oil pressure, all work as they should, overall rust free very solid jeep trail, street ready. New parts paint, Tires wheels wrangler Kevlar $200 each ,weber carb conversion, radiator overflow tank, new battery, brakes, seats, ss grill, many more new parts, jeep runs and drives nice and shifts smooth through all gears, has been well maintained over the years. Check my feedback score and bid with confidence. I have a new ss gauge bezel plate. This may be a modified custom extended cj7 or a factory cj8 prototype, I can’t tell.
But it is well done and solid, the title says 2DSW model year 1979.
Its unique and fun, passenger seat moves forward and step to load people easy. very straight body, new paint.”
According to the VIN on the title it is a CJ-7 (4&5 number is 93= CJ-7) Don’t think it is a proto type from anywhere cause I think they would have done a better job on the rear floor/wheel well section. Just looks a CJ7 tub extended.
Thanks Dennis. I’ll update it.
