We were given a signed DMV Title Replacement form, so one just has to go to AAA or the DMV to get a new title.

I love the sellers who tell you how to get a title, saying it is easy peasy…but they haven’t bothered themselves to get a title. Things that make you go….HMMMMMMM.
Never believe a seller who tells you it is easy to get a new title. Research it yourself!!
You are absolutely right Dj Bill! I recently spent 8 hours at Nevada DMV trying to get a title for a CJ2a. I finally convinced the pencil pushers by showing them an original CA registration with the jeeps description that had the original license plate number on it. They spent a lot of time researching VIN locations and looking at the body number, gussets, frame horns (inside and out) and the water pump boss. Lucky I had the plate on the jeep or I would have had a “pile of parts”.
