I don’t remember that light blue color, but it does look original. Thats not a bad price, relatively stock CJ-5’s are getting hard to find.
I remember those optional high back seats, they were a vast improvement in comfort over the stock seats.
Now there’s the perfect Jeep. Well kept, V6, synchronized 3 spd., low C.G. with high ground clearance, soft top, winch, flanged-offset Dana 44 rear end.

I used to have a 1970 ren 1 , 100 % original back in 75. bought another 2 years ago. both were Plum purple. both had rear swing tire carryers.
I have this same Renegade 1 now . I bought mine from the original owner back in 1987. Its the same color and everything. Mine had low back black and white pin stripped bucket seats,front and back. Ramsey 8000 lb pto winch,Warn overdrive, swing out rear tire carrier,4:88 gears. Buick dauntless 225 V6,T14,T18 , transmission and transfercase.
I read about the light blue renegade and I have a 1970 renegade. Light blue, dongles 225 V6, T10 4 speed, twin stick T18 transfer case, Warn overdrive, Dana 44 power lock rear end, Dana 27 front end, swing away spare tire carrier with 2 G I has cans. It has high back seats that are very comfortable. I put power steering on it with tilt colum. It does have new springs that ride much better. This was a original Arizona jeep. I put a winch on it and a road master stowaway tow bar.
