UPDATE: Still Available
(10/04/2013) The seller is quoting NADA, so he/she likely expects to get a lot.
“Very rare to find one with no rot and runs excellent; Motor redone and transmission is tight. Trade for? What do you have to trade? track hoe, backhoe, 4×4 tractor with extras or? N.A.D.A. value in average cond. is $10 to $11k and this is the nicest one I have seen that has not been redone.

(In GA, not CA.)
This has not been redone. Well…except for the engine, probably the transmission if it isn’t sloppy, the paint, seats, wheels and tires, fender flares.
Just when I thought I had a handle on the difference between overhauled, rebuilt, and re-manufactured……I now have to understand redone.
Good looking CJ-3A, none the less…

I do love this website. In the past 3-4 years I’ve been pining over buying an old willys jeep, I’ve learned more about identifying a “good” jeep and what they’re worth in the last 6 months from reading user comments than anywhere else.
Yeah, this one is definitely “not redone”. Ha!
Thanks Kevin. I’m glad the site’s been helpful 🙂
