“1946 Willy’s Jeep CJ-2A …Best Willy’s Body on the Planet.
Always Stored Inside and driven very little.
The owner of Elitch Gardens in Denver owned since new
Mileage is 1398 and is believed to be actual because of the long time it was in storage and the Excellent Condition of the Body.

This is a early Built Jeep with a 1945 Military Style Body with 1946 Options

Very Rare to find it with both combinations. Best of Both Worlds.

Very Few 1946 Jeeps had the 1945 Body
Extremely Rare
1946 Jeeps had Bigger Headlights.
This has also has the Rare Heater and Rear Back Seat.
I took the pictures to show how “Incredible the Body is” before we paint this Willy’s.
The Floors underneath are painted red and Look Nice also.
The Willy’s now has Seat Belts and New Turn Signal Switches to be safe Driving on the Road.

In Storage the Mice got to the Wiring and Seats.
So New Painless Wiring Harness was installed.
The Seats were Recovered and New Foam.
New Leaf Springs.
Tires are in Real Good Shape
New Canvas Top with Doors.
Rear Window Rolls up.
New Battery
New Body Bushings
New Fuel Lines
Newer Style Hubs Installed
New Paint this week. Wet Sanded and Buffed
Brakes, Clutch Etc are Real Good.
Motor was Rebuilt”

    Glove box, no tailgate, screwdown points on the fenders for the headlight brackets… methinks the body panels at least are MB/GPW. Hood is CJ, though.

    He should paint it olive drab and put a big white star on the hood. And tell them General Obama drove it in the war.

    Hi all…. interesting comments! I have to agree to a certain extent. I’m the fellow who work a deal for this jeep, it is sold. Based on the guys knowledge of jeeps it was a bit buttered up. It is though a very nice shape jeep. I could not build a clone or salad jeep for what was given for it! Plus, I’ve been driving it all over… The mile are not actual, speedo has been replaced. The mileage is I assume from when installed. It highlights 55 so must have been redo or what in late 70s, 80s. I’ll be posting more as a member of forum, as I now am “chewing it up in the salad jeep!. Got one better? later.
