(09/07/2013) This great looking 2A is almost early enough to be a VEC.
“Selling a 1946 Willys CJ2A (serial # 34587)-
This is an all original, numbers matching jeep. It was a barn find, purchased by my father in 2005, from Eastern Washington. He has completed a full frame-off restoration on this project. It is his third completed project (has restored a CJ3B & M38A1 as well) and he is looking to sell in order to free up space for another build. Jeep’s restoration was completed over 4 years. All receipts were keep and total over 9k. Included in the sale is a photo album of original owner with jeep’s history, and photos of the restoration process.

New paint (body, wheels, head, & frame). Up until serial number 38221, the CJ-2A only came in two colors–Pasture Green and Harvest Tan. Painted to match Pasture Green….
I am probably missing some details of this restoration. Please email me with any questions and I’ll be happy to try an answer or will direct you to my father for further information.
This CJ2A needs nothing, is complete, and was restored to be an accurate representation of the era. All parts that were “up-graded” were done to improve reliability and drive-ability of this project. All original parts will be included with the sale. Jeep has 66k original miles, 1,100 since restoration. Has original number plates & badges. Also comes with original tool kit & manual”
What a lovely neat engine bay with no wires running wild and jolly nice overall.
