UPDATE: **SOLD**. Was listed at $2500. Now listed in Boise.
(10/04/2013) Two of the photos are old, but it sure looks like a nice jeep. I’ve never seen those Buick valve covers. This jeep is only 2 hours away from me. If I had a box of money, I’d grab this one.
“1948 Jeep CJ2A
Buick Odd fire V6 with a 4 speed transmission and a Dana/Spicer 18 transfer case, locked Dana 44 rear and a Dana 25 front axle with 5.38 gears.
Warn 6000 lb winch, 32×9.50 15 Super Swamper TSLs with less than 1000 miles, Power steering with Caddy tilt and telescoping steering column.
With Extras.”
Only $2500? This will go FAST. Quick, Dave, buy a lottery ticket… you only need to win a small box of money to get this one. 🙂
I believe those are Kenne Bell valve covers, they used to be the answer for Buick performance.
Now I think they deal exclusively in induction systems.
2500 for this nice willys should be more like 5500.
I bought this little Jeep the other day and truthfully if I wasn’t in a hurry I would have drove her home from cove OR. to Boise ID . Great shape needs a little stuff here and there fixed but all in all worth twice the money . 🙂
It looks like a great little jeep. Have fun in the foothills!

Thanks Dave ….how did the paddle tires work out for you that I sold you ?? Never thought we could get 4 wheels and tires in your car lol take care Matt
I’ve got the tires stored at the moment. They look great installed, but they don’t hold air for long. I have to find some inner tubes, but getting them hasn’t been a priority.
The good news is that now i have a bigger ‘car’ and get fit even more tires! 🙂
