Yes, finally, the book will arrive! The Amber Panels of Konigisberg will go on sale next Wednesday. Since the pre-release version, I’ve reduced the number of words, made numerous corrections, changed the font, smoothed out rough patches, cut portions of the book, and added a slight twist to the ending. Even the cover has been altered.
For those wanting signed copies, it will take a few weeks for me to receive my order of books, sign them, then forward them to you (this includes the pre-release readers as well). So, stay tuned for updates.
For the launch and the ongoing sales campaign I’ve created a special website as well which I’ll share Wednesday.
Here’s the newest cover:
Dave, since I’ve already read the pre-release version, I’ll be needing to know the twist at the end!
Congrats Dave! Outstanding. I look forward to reading it.
For those who did not get a chance to read the pre-release – David Eilers has written an exciting fast paced yet well balanced thriller. The compelling story spans both gritty and beautiful locations while making a jump from war-torn Europe to the supposedly peaceful American Northwest, all the while exposing the characters’ personalities in ways that add proper depth to the story. Likable but not perfect heroes, and sinister yet understandable villains. And somehow Dave weaves in jeep or two.
I can recommend this book without reservation; however, it opens fast and keeps moving, so you may want to plan for reading it straight through. This book will also make great movie material. (In a way, it reminds me of Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest.)
Great story Dave. Thanks for the opportunity to read the pre-release. Guy
One/1 signed copy for me please Dave, can’t wait to read it!!!
One comment I’ve gotten consistently: everyone can’t wait to see the movie. I can’t wait either! 🙂
Sign one for me….
I’ve only read one book that I can see a moving being made. It too, was set in war-torn Europe. That thought makes me want to read Dave’s book sooner. And that would be awesome if it made the movie scene.

Hey Dave.. Sign me up.. I think I know where we can find a room full of jeep projects to use in the movie although I don’t have a GPA yet.
Best wishes for a huge run on the new book to may favorite new author!!
Hey Dave, Crazy Ralphie is willing to loan you his GPA if you need it. I don’t think it would be very good for high speed chase scenes but it would work well for transporting bikini clad young women along the beach. Crazy Ralphie is even willing to be the driver for free.
