Camping in Ohanapecosh For a Couple Days

From early Monday through Wednesday Ann and I will be camping at the Ohanapecosh campground in Mount Rainier National Park. There was no cell service when we were there last year and I expect the same lack of service this year. So, I won’t be answering emails or doing updates for a few days.

The book is done . . . now just have to build the PDF, order a proof, and do some marking stuff. 🙂

I just left the Sunrise Campground at Rainier a week ago. Stayed at Crystal Mountain.
Watch for brown bears and Elk in your campsite. We took the lower trail out, and hiked back the upper ridge trail. Looking down from the ridge we saw bears on the trails were just came off.

Thankfully we didn’t see any bears. However, during our second evening at the campground we encountered two van loads of kids from the Federal Way Boys and Girls Club. It’s safe to say they were making enough noise to scare away any bears within a ten mile radius. Sigh.
