UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500

(12/20/2012) Calling this refurbished, rather than restored, is more accurate. I’m not sure what is hanging so low below the jeep.

“This is a very nice FRAME-OFF resoration. Everything redone!! Check out the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzNXQwca7nM From the wheel bearings to the brakes to the wiring and the engine!
This has the F-134 engine and I did NOT cut a hole in the hood. Tub is strong and solid, drives great, lots and lots of fun to drive and really is an attention getter no-matter where I go.

I drove one like this with a F in it – the extra HP was noticeable. I wonder why Willys didn’t just put a Holly lower profile carb on the F retained the CJ3A body when the decision was made to put the bigger engine in the Jeep – it looks nicer and it fits and runs well. The 3B has a top-heavy look.

I think that is the exhaust pipe hanging low – a good exhaust guy can route the pipe to fit the way it is in the CJ3B

I agree the word is refurbished. It has the wrong wheels and tires, missing the trans covers, boots etc. and it looks like it have a non-Willys rear bumper. But it may be worth $7900.

I think it’s the exhaust too, since the exhaust valves on both the l head and F head are the same, there’s no reason why the exhaust should be in the wrong place.

And Bill, you’re wrong about the 3B…it’s got a more aggressive look than the other flatfenders.
