UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was listed at $9000.
This look nice.
“1948 Willys truck on an S-10 chassis with a Chevy 4.3 engine and 4 speed automatic transmission with slap stick. This is a project you can enjoy while you finish it. The truck will do 65 MPH safely, but it is not completely restored for a daily driver, but not a lot.
The truck was put on a used S-10 chassis and the rear half has been rebuilt. Here are all the new parts that I am aware of:
Fuel tank
Rear shocks
Exhaust
Fuel lines
Brake lines
U-joints
Fuel pump
Edlebrock carb
Sprak plugs and wires
Radiator
Battery
Gauges
The tires are fairly newer. The windshield is new, but both side windows are cracked. The interior panels and headliner have new material, but need to be finished. The paint looks good. It runs good and shifts well. It also comes with a box of extra parts and lot of receipts.
This was Dad’s project but he passed away before completely it. Priced to sell or make a reasonable offer.
Must see to appreciate. Local pick up and certified payment accepted.”
Nice truck, but that seems like a lot of coin to me.
I think is worth every penny, looks like a very nice build.
Dec. 25,2013 is this still available. If so does it have air, not mentioned? A few more pictures, some of interior would be nice. Merry Christmas.
Hi Richard,
I haven’t seen this truck relisted in quite a while, so I’m not sure on the status. If it is relisted, I’ll drop you a note.
