It runs and drives. The front bumper’s been altered.”Selling a 1943 Ford GPW similar to a Willy’s but built by Ford. Been sitting on a ranch for the last 40 years. In 2008 all fluids were changes and brakes done. Maybe a 1 mile has been put on it since then. Does run all gears work. Good oil pressure. There are a few rust holes but what jeep doesn’t have them after 70 years. Does have windshield gun rack, fire extinguisher holder, and backseat. I believe it does have the original motor and drivetrain.
I think the gun holder is upside-down. The correct way looks upside-down, but is so you can grab the rifle even with the windshield folded forward over the hood. If this is all original and running, that’s a good price for a GPW. Is that a bullet hole by the transfer case shift levers?
Looks like it to me.
The hole might be intentional…to make it easier to remove the pin that holds the levers in place.
