The Museum of Alaska Transportation & Industry is located in Wasilla, Alaska. It’s a far drive for most people to see the museum, but it does have a rare CJ-3B Fire Jeep. I think that’s as good of a reason to visit Alaska as any other!

Ron alerted me to the museum and shared these photos he took. Note the CJ-7 Mail Jeep CJ-8 Scrambler, which I think looks pretty good. Thanks Ron!

Thanks Ron, If you go back, I’d love to see Todd and Sarah in that CJ3B seat.

    Dave-

Alaska is my last state to visit too…. I will get there sometime soon! I think that mail Jeep is one of those export-only CJ-8 Overlanders! That 3B fire truck is cool too

I believe that White mail Jeep is a CJ8 Scrambler with a full top, check out the “sexy” long rear overhang in the second picture. : )

I’m sure you guys are right about the scrambler. I didn’t spend a whole lot of time looking at that one. I”ll correct it. Thanks!
