UPDATE: Now No Price. Was listed at $5500.
The work looks good, but the frontend design is unexpected. Those old dogs look in good shape.
“I have a built from ground up 1944 Willys Jeep, it has a regular jeep frame and Willys body, extremely nice, never seen rain or anything, garage kept. NO TITLE, but can get a builders title. Have over $13,000 invested in it. Will sell for $3500 OBO, motivated seller. If live at far distance and unable to pick up, will deliver for fee. You can call/text 618-917-7777, for any questions you may have. tHANKSs”
I wonder what he means by a “40s scout frame”? Scouts were not built until 1961 or so and was not much longer than a Jeep at the time.
And yet more changes to the ad.
Now it says “regular Jeep frame” whatever that means. CJ-7? Wrangler Unlimited? 4-door JK? None of which are “regular” Jeeps. All longer wheelbase version of the original CJ.
1944? 2A or 3A grille? Fiberglass tub?
Bares little resemblance to anything built in 1944.
And now the price is $3,500 OBO.
Methinks not too many “normal” people would be interested.
