Since I bought a DJ-6, I’m seeing CJ-6 everywhere…Is it normal?
Pascal.
It’s not normal to see CJ-6s everywhere. Have you sought professional help for this issue 😉
There has been a slight increase in the number of them for sale, but overall they are pretty hard to find for sale.

I have only three jeep in my yard and as long as they are running, I should be ok mentally. Thanks for the advise.
I bought the documents that you post just after my DJ-6 posts. I have a DJ-6!
This has been listed and re-listed. Looks like a nice jeep and the price is not unreasonable…
I have been attempting to contact the seller for a while now and have had no luck. I would love to purchase it.
Not sure if a 1965 had the battery box on the hood. But it Look very nice.
Jim … did the seller not return email, phone calls or both?
Dave,
Both. Sent 3 e-mails and left 2 messages on answering machine.
OK…I sent an email to the cut and paste address…I’ll post here if I get a reply….I have no plans to buy it….
Just a thought, but we are heading down to Phoenix in ten days. We couldn’t bring it on a trailer, but we could possibly tow it.
Randy.. Thanks for the help !!
Nothing yet…..I’ll let Dave know if I hear something and we can go from there….
Still nothing….makes you wonder….
I saw this happen with a CJ-3B in Cali. The jeep was relisted over a period of two years, but no one could contact the seller.
Do you think it’s just a way of collecting email addresses? Seems odd.
I believe the seller has dropped the price in a manner consistent with a real seller. I see no flags. If the seller wanted to collect emails, he’d more likely price the jeep at $1000 or something else ridiculous.
True, but why no response to those interested(I’m not)? Funny. Maybe I’m missing something.
One problem I ran into a few years ago was using a yahoo email address with Craigslist. I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting a response from an ad. So, I tested the ad and discovered the emails weren’t going through. I don’t know if that’s still a problem.
Another issue could be the seller’s email system is rejecting the emails from craigslist.
A third issue might be that the emails are automatically being forwarded to his junk mail.
Yeah and a fourth non-nefarious reason would be if the seller made a typo in the “reply-to” box during setup and repeated it in the following check box. Ask me how I know. 🙂
If the seller really wants to sell, why would he not answer phone or return calls? As for e-mail I was recently blocked out of Yahoo email for almost 6 weeks.Turns out a lot of other yahoo accounts were having similar problems.Who knows ,maybe it is a legitament situation,I hope someone can actually contact the seller and purchase this good looking Jeep!Good luck!
Still waiting to here something back. I will be home Sunday and i will try to call again. I will update if I have any success.
OK…I googled the phone number. I get DL Dark mobile home repair in Aumsville.

Next google DL Dark and you get more information

Try that second number and see what happens….
Why the heck didn’t I think of that? Good thinking Randy!
Thanks Dave…sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t….
Finally had success contacting the seller. This Jeep was his dad’s who has now passed away. Working a deal, I just need to get home to complete it. I will let you know if a deal is worked out.( sometimes I dislike my job…like trying to buy a jeep from 8,000 miles away:-) )
Good Luck!! After all that effort and persistence you deserve a good deal!
Drop a note if there is anything else we can help with Jim.
