Amazing at how many of the Jeeps have their spare tires mounted in the back. I’ll bet even back then they new something about spare tire strikes! Pretty cool pics!
I also notice that almost all of them have the same red gerry can with a yellow label on them…any idea what that might be about or what the label says?
…and none of these Jeeps headed across the old wagon trail, the Rubicon Trail, have double sized tires and a an overpowering, traction breaking V-8 with headers bushing out of the little engine compartment. No holes are cut for the air cleaner. They just used skill to drive the original equipment through the Sierra-Nevada Mountain Range utilizing the power provided by the gear selection.
