There’s no engine.

I used to drive one of these in the Air Force. Had a diesel, 2wd, locked in low. Very slow, but quite a lot of power. We pulled 20,000 lb bomb trailers with them.
A year ago I found one at a dump in Germany near Bonn, it had a Nissan Patrol inline 6 Diesel engine with a unknown auto trans and a transfercase with just a rear drive going out, was completely stock, so I think that is what they were delivered with.
