Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I suppose you posted this just for me as I pass through Sutherlin tomorrow on my way to the two Swap Meets in Portland, OR. Dave, I’m not sure if you’re doing me a favor, or if you’re being cruel to me. If I like this CJ-6, I won’t be able to bring home any other gems. (lol)
**Steve E.**
How this .. pick it up if you like it, remove a couple items you like, then resell at the swap meet! Wish I had time to run down to the swap meets in Portland. I’ve never been down to it. Maybe next year. Have fun!

Dave, you must make time to go to Portland (OR) next year. There are two separate swap meets in one. A few years ago, you had to pay for each meet, now one ticket gets you into both, even though they are run by two different organizations.
The first location is at the Portland Expo Center (fairgrounds), where we will have an outdoor swap spot. The second is just down the hill at the Portland International Raceway, where you walk along the 1.9 mile track with swap stalls on each side. Free off-duty school buses are constantly running to transport you and your carry-on items between the two swap meets or anywhere along the route. It takes two days to go through it all, the first time. It’s a three day swap meet, with venders setting up on Thursday. There’s always more than my budget or my pickup can bring home. And just as with many Willys event throughout the country, you always get to see all of your old friends year after year.
I didn’t make it last year because the FC Roundup landed on the same day (which takes priority, of course.)

The buyer told me it’s sold now. And just to to head off a rumor. The two swap meets have separate admission charges.
Thanks Blaine. I’ll update the post.
Do you happen to have a link to sites about the meets?
Thx,
– Dave
Sorry too late. Didn’t read this till today. Steve and I both got a of couple Jeep items
No problem. I hope you both had fun!
Every year the Portland (OR) Swap Meet has new and unusual things to see. It’s the largest auto swap meet this side of Pennsylvania. As usual, I drove home with a bigger pile in the truck. But this year I had a little CJ-6 tagging behind. (It turned out to be a ’71, not a 70.)
Oh,yeah. Since I always have a vendor pass to both, I had forgotten that you have to pay to enter each swap meet separately. It’s the new buses between the two that are a joint venture a free to ride. Thanks for keeping me honest, Blaine.
The CJ-6 towed home just fine, raining (snowing over the highest pass) the whole way. It’s in better shape than I expected; however, the rust in the four spots (two on each side) is as bad as it looks, but repairable. It will need a lot of cleaning up, including brakes and a new fuel tank.
I’m about Jeeped-out. It’s been non-stop Jeep activities for about a month. It’s time to dig and plant my garden. (lol)
