For the price it is worth a look. That’s a lot of slats on the hood.

That does take the cake for the amount of hood slats. I’ve never seen anyone add that grille crossbar either. That things looks like it’s in decent shape.
I don’t think I like the looks of it but I would think they would stiffen the hood a lot and maybe help a little in engine noise reduction? With that stiffening, you could load some weight on the hood such as a tire.
The front bumper attachment is interesting. suggests he might have got hung up on the engine at some time and this was the solution. Grill attachment might help stop something from puncturing the radiator?

I like the “patina” on that jeep. Nice shades of green… even though it’s probably just mold.
