UPDATE: **SOLD** Was Make Offer
“this is a 1956 English jeep project
right hand drive
texas title
engine and running gear intact
I was going to pull the body and drop it on something else…it’s now being used as field art, a conversation piece while beer drinking and a photo prop for red necks”
I had one of these a few years back. Very rare, less than 1,000 known. (remember rare does not equate to valuable though). They are overdesigned to meet the desires of the British military and feature such things as a Rolls Royce engine. Working on them is not easy. Parts are available and there is a club for them. They also weigh far too much and thus bog down easily. The Landrover which was originally designed for civilian use became the replacement for these. Often they ran a few Landrovers and one Champ as a team in the field. The Landrovers were much lighter and more reliable so they won out in the end.

I owned three. I can attest to the lack of value, the expense of parts, and their weight. Still cool though!
I now own this one…I have plenty of contacts for parts … just am going through a divorce so money is tight… interested in purchasing or if you have parts at a reasonable price….contact me a 760-730-2737
Luis, there’s a an owner of several parts Champs in Salt Lake City. He bought three of them off of me. You can click here to see what they looked like: http://www.ewillys.com/champs/
If you are interested, I’ll try to hunt down Van Johnson’s contact info.
