UPDATE: This is now on eBay. It was listed at $3500.
“I have a 1943 ford gpw army jeep I need to sell. The older gentleman that I bought it from started restoration on it but stopped. It is partially disassembled and has been mostly sandblasted. I pulled the head off of it before I bought it and the motor seems to not have much wear. The motor is GPW not willys. Clean texas title. I bought it to restore but have since bought a redone MB willys so this must go as I need the storage space for another project. I need the space yesterday so I will deal a little. If interested call (806) 374-3056. As always local pickup and cash only. I don’t respond to emails. Thanks.”
Sold on Ebay for 4200
It is amazing how often it happens. Something gets on ebay and exceeds the original price on Craigslist. There was a truck I listed for $11,500 for two months. The buyer bought it at, mostly likely, $10K. Now it’s on eBay currently sitting below reserve at $12,100. The buy it now price is $22,000 (I called about it for a client).
If only they found it on ewillys first…
Right?
