My First vehicle was a 1967 Jeep Wagoneer and it had that engine along with a 3 speed manual on the tree!! Engine had been abused b4 i got it so it leaked and or burned Oil . Bad Valves and Valve cover gaskets. Still had lots of power . Would have fixed it but up here in New England vehicles disintigrate. And this one was well on the way so there was little reason to fix it. Got me through a wild graduation summer though !!!
