UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2950.
The rear cargo bed appears patched or may just be protected. This may be worth a look.
“1947 CJ2 Reconditioned engine with reground crankshaft, new bearings, new valves, piston rings, seals and gaskets. All new ignition parts. Converted to twelve volts. Invested over a thousand dollars in new parts. Cash price $2.950.”
Is it me, or does something look odd? There are no drain holes in the body and the gas tank filler neck angle is strange.
I remember I was in the middle of answering two emails when I post this one. You are right, the gas inlet has been altered for some reason. And, it is missing drain holes. I can’t imagine that much work being done on the side unless it had been really rusty at some point.
