Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

This was made by Kelly Mfg. and was the answer to an updated metal top made by Meyer. It featured increased visibility with bigger window glass area, and came in two versions. The Bonanza II (pictured) had the wood trim inserts with the rear quarter windows on each side. This top appeared on the market in the mid 1960’s, (66-67) after Meyer had captured the market with their redesigned metal tops that had the “Jeep Approved Equipment” backing. As a result, Jeep dealers “pushed” Meyer tops and Kelly lost sales. The Bonanza Top was Kelly’s answer to the competition. It also was one of the first after market auto equipment manufacturers to “Brand Name” their product. Of course, there was an obvious but un -authorized tie in with the TV of the same name.
Good info. Thanks!
I take it this top is gone? If anyone has one I’d be interested.
Thanks!
I have a fully restored Bonanza 2 top with doors and rear hatch for sale. You can reach me at philliptibbetts@Gmail
Hi,
What do you value this top, with side doors and rear window?
I have an opportunity to buy one right now that looks to be in great shape.
Thank you!
Mine is fully restored and have been told value is between $2000-$2500. On the other hand it is worth what some one is willing to pay.
The tops that I’ve seen over $1000 don’t sell very quickly. Most tops I’ve seen are listed at $500, though a few of the nicer ones are $500 – $700. But, you can always start high and drop.
Thank you for your input!
This set is nearly perfect.
