They look like those mats that are easy on your feet. You can cut them to fit in just about any place.
Interesting bench seat in this one… The mat in the back is probably those rubber tiles you fit together to cover a concrete floor so you won’t slip or strain your legs while standing for long periods.. Like what would be around a dishwashing station in a restaurant.AIr filter is unique too. And the reference to NADA retail is typical seller hogwash and also shows just how far off the guidebooks are on these older cars. It is a shame so many state DMV offices rely on the NADA guides to value cars for taxation purposes.
That seat looks like it might be out of an s10?
The floor covering is made from MDF (Multi Density Fiberboard). Often used here in the UK for decorative purposes, such as radiator covers in the home. That pattern is approx 1/4″ thick and is not water proof, or hard wearing, which suggest to me that it is be used to cover a multitude of sins.
Thanks George. I knew about MDF, but didn’t know it came in that type of design. I thought it was more like the rubber mats used in some restaurants: http://www.webstaurantstore.com/3-x-5-teknor-competitor-755-101-red-grease-resistant-rubber-floor-mat-1-2-thick-bevel-edge/844B755101.html?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=844B755101&utm_campaign=PLA&gclid=CNOsq5Ki1LMCFYp_QgodS2wAcw
Either way, i’m sure it’s covering up something 🙂
