Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Hobart G261 Welder 250 amps 40volts, Has a Willys Jeep BSBT Industrial Engine CJ2A,
Comes already on a trailer, Gas tank will have to be replaced, Engine and welder was working
before it set for about 2 years. Will be sold as is but will make someone a nice welder, was
going to restore but have another Welder I am restoring now. All reasonable offers will be taken.”
Do you still have this machine?
I just checked Craigslist, but had no luck finding it. So, it either sold or the seller hasn’t relisted. I’ll update the post to reflect this. If it reappears, I’ll let you know.
