are they old armstrong tru tracks tires? I had some (way back) and they were great tires
Yes, those are tru traces. You can see the same tread in the add shown below. These were popular in the northwest, too.

Those are Vietnam era US Army issue food storage insulated containers. I have one and they are often seen at military surplus stores for around $25. But a cheap styrofoam container does a better job of keeping things cold.
