This is a little fuzzier. I found this postcard for sale at jumpingfrog.
I believe the train is still in business, but I think they now use some sort of vehicle that looks like a train engine. My inlaws live nearby and we visit St. Augustine a few times a year and have seen them. Maybe if they still used the jeep I would ride them!
I saw an example of the newer train, but it didn’t look much like a jeep in the picture. But, it didn’t really look like a regular train engine.
We have plans for the ENTIRE family to gather down there for Christmas. St. Augustine is 25 minutes away and I won’t have my jeep with me…so I’ll be looking for an escape. If I see/find anything (old or new),I’ll let you know!
I think this is the train tour I’ve seen down there. They say they’ve been around since ’53; maybe they bought out the jeep tour? The color scheme is different.

I just clicked on the “About” icon and it gives the history of the trains. The first picture shown is the same train with the postcard jeep acting as the engine!
