Huh, I never knew that was an original color, nor did I know they came with black wheel wells.

Maybe it’s an illusion but it looks like the frame is bowed up under the windshield. That’s a heck of a big plow for that little jeep.

I think that is supposed to be restored to original, as Willys didn’t supply body color frames or bumpers unless the body was black. The color appears to be an approximation of Pasture Green and Michigan Yellow (maybe Autumn Yellow??) ? wheels, and the wheel color looks too bright on my screen. What it looks like in person is anyone’s guess. I think the front fender has a downward twist to it that gives the bowed frame appearance the above poster describes…The plow is raised and also gives a nose down appearance to the jeep.

I think that is a 6 foot Meyers, which is a decent size for a jeep, but like any plow it does put a pretty good load on those front springs when raised. There were some plows made for the jeeps even heavier than this one, including one that was designed to be used for snow OR dirt.

All considered, it looks like an excellent jeep. Especially for one that has plowed snow.
