UPDATE: I had the wrong link to Goose’s original build (thanks Dave).
Goose forwarded some images showing the addition of a half cab to his CJ-3B. Goose spotted this half cab on eWillys this summer. He worked out a deal with the seller, then set about making a few customizations so that it would fit. It sure turned out nicely! If you don’t remember Goose’s Project CJ-3B, you can see his original four-month build here.
That top look really great. Seems like a CJ3B is one of those Jeeps that looks great and tough when fixed up but terrible and out of proportion when unrestored, unloved and left to decay.
Damn! Great looking Jeep! AllI can say.
Love that top! When I was a kid back in the late 50’s some folks named Proffer had a Jeep like that with a bed extender, it was forest green, though. Funny to think that it must have been almost new. Anyway, I believe that Jeep, plus my Dad’s 52 wagon, are what got me hooked.
at 6’2″ i would have a hard time getting in and out of that
