Mark listed this nice M-38A1 at sellajeep.com.
“Very Rare M38A1 Early Production 1952 Army Jeep with a Rare Military Issue 100 Amp Auxiliary Generating System
Completely restored to its original condition from the ground up!!”
This is at Frank Malatesta’s Horeless Carriage Carriers Vintage Auto Transport on Iowa Ave. In Paterson, NJ. Frank has one of the largest collection of classic vehicles including many Willys Military Jeeps. One Day some years ago, I was driving my 1948 Willys CJ2A along Iowa Ave. and Frank happened to be out side loading a trailer; he stopped me and invited me in to see his collection. I Felt privileged and honored to be one of the few invited inside his warehouse. If you happen to be in Paterson, NJ on a snowy day, chances are you’ll see Frank plowing snow with his FC 170 with a utility body & Meyer Electrolift plow. (Only up & down, no power angle) This FC was bought NEW back in 1960-61. I remember it from my childhood.
Note to self. Arrange trip east to correspond with snow . . . 🙂 Not sure how I will coordinate that with next May/June’s trip east.
