UPDATE: Was $2000 **SOLD**
Dan spotted this and called the seller. This runs well, but does need some work. Dan notes it is a Parkway, but he’s unsure if it is a Traveler.
“Dana 44 Front, 12 Bolt rear, 4 speed, 350 motor, edelbrock manafold and carb. Lifted and sitting on 35’s. Current registration and RUNS!!!”
I spoke with the seller (although the conversation was pretty rough due to a bad cell phone connection). Here are my notes and his words:
*It’s a project
*Has owned the wagon only briefly and is selling it as he has six cars, works 100 miles away, and is losing his storage space
*Stock Willys frame
*Previous owner did the modification work
*GM steering column
*Manual steering
*Steering wheel is too small and hence it’s hard to turn the big tires
*Tires are in pretty good shape (although the pictures indicate otherwise)
*Custom shackles and spring hangers were welded to GM axles by previous owner to do to SOA lift
*Manual clutch (I asked what this meant, but we had a pretty bad cell phone connection)
*The transmission is a manual four speed
*Engine purrs like a kitten
*Doesn’t know if the winch works but it looks cool
Still have it? I am interested.
