UPDATE: This sold. The new owner is looking for parts.
This has a CJ-2A engine. It also has an CJ-3A windshield. There is some rust in the jockey box floor. There are no data plates, so the title number matches nothing.

Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Might be able to tell if this jeep was worth the price if he pulled it out of that junk pile for some pictures. Yeesh.
considering i bought a ’52 M-38(CDN) with the full 24 volt, fording capable, original engine and drivetrain, really decent body and hat channels for 2800.00, i’m thinking this is somewhat overpriced. or i got a screaming good deal on mine. i did, i admit.
Frank, make a full price offer on this Jeep and the seller might throw in the various lawn mowers, ladders, pallets and other crap visible in the pictures!
tempting……….
Hi guys, I went to see this jeep as it was advertised as an MB/gpw as they area my specific focus. I asked Dave to post the jeep for sale here for Frank (the seller) as he may be a bit jeep and internet challenged.
There’s a bit more to the story that I’m sure the Frank would share with a truly interested party. Bottom line is the the seller may no longer have the means or energy to clean this jeep up for pictures and was under the wrong impression what it even is. It was my push for pictures so if the pictures are not up to your standard I apologize but at least you get an idea of what it is rather than a vague picture less description.
If you are in the market for a project M38 I think this is a good candidate and as far as price give the guy a call or send an email and try to work it out it does say OBO. I think you find the seller is a reasonable guy that just wants the jeep to go to a good home and has some other heavy stuff on his plate.
if i could even import it into Canada without all the b.s., drive down to Idaho, pick this up etc., i still couldn’t offer more than 500.00. frank should be informed that his price is MUCH to high. for me anyways. just ’cause it’s a jeep doesn’t mean it’s priceless. no disrespect intended to anybody but 5,000.00 as a starting price?
I’d concur with the majority posts. Arguably a tough selling price with the lack of “Title” and orig Data Plates.
If I read it correctly he has a title, just no matching numbers on the body/frame anywhere. I wonder if the patent data plate is still on the passenger fender well, they are usually overlooked and under multiple layers of military paint.
Personally I would value the jeep around $2500, but transport from there to here would probably be close to or over $1000. that’s the deal killer.
