With a bumper like that, I wonder if this was a service station jeep or a vehicle pusher.

I don’t remember seeing a wide front bumper like that. Usually they’re improvised, but this one looks specially made for pushing vehicles. I especially like the curved ends and inset license plate area, and it looks to be in good shape. If that was my jeep I’d keep that bumper on it.
