It runs and drives and is a mish mash of parts. You don’t often see a CJ-2A windshield on a CJ-3B body. And that hood, what’s up with it? It’s just wrong.
“1947 willys jeep the title says cj2….flat 4 cyl twin stick transfer case 4 speed starts runs and drives and stops and the stock tires even hold air….the tub is pretty rough and has been plated and welded ….the lights and signals work….clean title and a tub of extra parts and a service manual is a running project 1700”
Appears it was a 2A (judging by it having a flat head, 2A windshield, 2A hood modified to fit a B tub). I think I would have sawzalled the tub to make it fit the 2a hood rather than visa-versa. Looks like you’d need a pillow to sit on to see over the high tub and 2A windshield combo.
Looks like a CJ2 grill, maybe the hood was cut down and sloped to meet it?
Opps, just read the post before mine saying about the same.
Wow, that hurts my eyes!
