UPDATE: **SOLD** Was priced at $2600.
I love the old lettering for the “Pine Valley Hunt Club”. Except for the crazy front bumper, this looks in pretty good shape. Motor is locked.
“hi im selling a a 1947 willys army jeep. it has been sitting for 5 years the motor is locked up from sitting for so long. so it is not running at the moment but it did before it sat before for so long. it is a 4×4.”
If you zoom in on 4th photo it appears this is a column shift
Good eyes! I agree. I’ll update the post.
I like the patina…
Talked to the owners son. Body number is 26581. Its a 46 column shift. The pictures I received showed surface rust but couldn’t see any really big holes. Tool box looked solid.
To bad its froze.
This vehicle has been sold!!
Mike, did you happen to pick that up? I’ve marked it as sold. Thanks!
I was the lucky guy that bought this CJ2. Was actually a 1946 model and yes, it was originally a column shift but they did a good jod on the floor shift conversion. Engine needs an overhaul but I’m happy with this find and will make a good restoration project.
Hi Dale,
Congrats on your purchase and thanks for updating us on the jeep. I too think it will make a good project. Good luck with it!
