UPDATE:  Was $3000. **SOLD**

(07/25/2012) The seller provides some good details on the condition.  It needs a few things to run.

“Just testing the waters with this.

The good:
It’s a 1951 CJ3A, has a title.
SOA Lift, Saginaw steering swap.
Has a 1964 Small Block Ford 289.
Chevy steering column
Rear fenderwells are modified to fit modern seats, comfortable sit in.
Dana 44 rear, Dana 27 front. Both from a scout 80/800.
Front disk brakes using Scout II rotors, GM calipers, etc.
Aluminum rims with 31×10.5xR15 tires, with 50% tread left
Converted to disk brakes, and hydraulic clutch.
Has a working speedometer, voltmeter, temp gauge, etc.
Brand new wiring harness front to rear.
Fully wired, blinkers, brakes, headlights. Has a 12 fuse fuseblock, with about 8 unused connections for various things.
Rebuilt Autolite 2100 carburetor. Engine runs amazingly well. The engine alone is worth 1500.
Drives perfect down the road, as in, you can take your hands off the wheel and it’ll track straight.

What it needs to be complete:
A new brake booster.
A better radiator, or a fan shroud to be made (gets hot, doesn’t overheat, gauge might be incorrect)
A fuel cell (purchased one on Ebay, still waiting, RCI 19 gallon aluminum fuel cell)
It’s currently registered as a classic (Horse drawn carriage, in WA state). I don’t have a set of plates for it, so it’s technically not legal to drive it on the road. In order to get it legal to drive on the road, you just need to go to the DOL, and you can get it registered as a normal car or truck. You’ll pay the taxes for the sale price on the jeep for the registration, then you’ll pay the tag and license plate fees (not sure on this). There won’t be any obscene paperwork, and no B.S.

The bad:
The body has “questionable” amounts of bondo, and rust.
The front fenders are some fold-forward setup that doesn’t line up very well.
Engine has a tendency to get warm. The brake booster and Master cylinder that came with it are shot, the booster is bad, and the MC seals are toast. Could be easily replaced from JY, and if somebody is seriously interested in purchasing this, i will gladly tell you the make/model of vehicle you can get the setup off of.

Reason i’m selling:
The funding isn’t really there. I’m a college student, and my budget is getting stretched pretty thin. As of recent events, i’m in the market for a new(er) truck. I just don’t have the time and money to give to this thing to make it what it could be, and i would love to see somebody who has the devotion take it off my hands and turn it into something much nicer than what it currently is.”
