This looks to be an old FC Fire Jeep. There doesn’t appear to be any fire equipment with it.

Unusual rust around the roof rail, I bought an old car out of California and has it shipped to the south east and it also had rust in the same area. Around here our cars rust from the bottom up, what’s with this unusual California rust from the top down?
Maybe that is why there are so many convertibles in California .. lol
I tried to buy this one a year or so ago and it was already gone. I think it was $1200 in Napa, CA. Dave, you had it posted I think. If not, it was def on thefcconnection.com
My blue one is rusted in the exact same way above the roof. Condensation must trap on the inside. No big deal, we have sheet metal and welders to fix all that 😉

I wish I had seen this one when it was up for sale. Hope the original paint job was kept. Right out of my native town, Santa Rosa. Boy has that place changed.
Ben, Not much in Cali hasn’t changed, lol. I lived there between 2002-2006 (Santa Cruz area) and it has already changed!
santa cruz ? – i did my time there , 1960 to 1970 — top of the santa cruz mts — 1000 acre redwood preserve — all mine — 1 room school house — no nasty neighbors — this is where the willys craze started — because of me — soon as i got a willys , everybody had to have one — its good to be the king o willys !!
