Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The new design …. isn’t done yet. I’ve reverted back to the old design. I’ve made some good strides on it, but there’s more to be done. I’m going to focus on my next book for a short while and return to the updated site changes at a future date.

Looks good so far..I would reduce the font size of the top navigation about 10-20% though..They seem to over power the rest of the design.

Yep .. it’s a work in progress. I knew they were large. I was fiddling with things on the phone using the old design. When I put the buttons on the new design, it caused strange things to happen. I decided to go to sleep and tackle it today .. Thanks!
Looks great. However, not that much of a fan of the top navigation. I also like having a column of the latest comments. Anyways, looks great Dave! Keep up the good work.

Yep, I can understand that. And, I actually prefer all the old navigation, except for when I have to access this by phone (hence the reason for this change).
So, I’m muddling, testing, muddling, testing — trying to push the envelope in terms of navigation. This new theme is way more complicated than my previous theme, so make changes is a bit arduous.
The good news is I can revert back to the earlier design with just a few minutes work.
