Here’s a good price on a slat grille.
“This is an Original Willys, not a Ford.”
This does not appear to be a slat grill. It should not have a glove box and the headlights look really large. Looks like a well used, modified later MB.

The headlights have been attached to the outside and are probably aftermarket buckets or some kind of low quality modification.
It is true that Slat Grilles before 120697 did not have a glove box. However, the ones made between serial number 120697 and 125808 did have a glove box (which were built in early 1942). After 125808 the MBs had stamped grilles. If this has the stamped body, then it is probably the rare gloved boxed slat grille.
Of course, this particular MB could be a combination of various parts. That possibility can never be discounted until the evidence indicates otherwise.
